Everyone's invited to the 19th annual Earth Day Festival hosted by Sustainable Lafayette featuring a full slate of educational and interactive exhibits plus kids activities, a petting zoo, vintage clothing shop, free bike repairs, arts & craft activities, face painting from 11am to 2pm at Lafayette Plaza.
There will also be booths collecting the following hard-to-recycle items: used shoes, e-waste,contacts and their packaging including the blister packs, razors and blades, trigger sprayer bottles (think all purpose cleaner, glass cleaner, etc), corks, batteries and all Toms of Maine empty containers
Note: Sustainable Lafayette has received permission to use Lafayette Plaza on Sunday, April 26, 2026 for Earth Day Festival from 8am to 4pm. There will be temporary street closure and restricted parking downtown related to this event. Please contact Sustainable Lafayette for more event details.
