The City of Lafayette’s mobile app, My Lafayette, provides you with an easy and convenient option for reporting maintenance requests and puts important emergency information at your fingertips via your mobile device.
If you live, work or regularly visit Lafayette, you are encouraged to download the My Lafayette app.
“In addition to the everyday convenience of having a way to report maintenance requests, look up meeting agendas and contact information for City staff, the mobile app is a valuable resource during an emergency, providing you with links to CWS, Evacuation Zone information and the ability to listen to AM 1670,” said Niroop K. Srivatsa, City Manager.
Via the My Lafayette app, maintenance request issues are automatically fed into the City's work order system so that they can be tracked and assigned to the appropriate City department. Users who create an account can follow the status of their request, by using a unique tracking number for each case. You also have the option to share photos directly from your phone and your precise location to help us better understand your request.
My Lafayette app allows you to report:
- damaged or missing street signs
- graffiti
- issues related to Maintenance of City streets, parks, and trails
- damaged or overflowing trash/recycling bins in the downtown core area
- concerns about drainage and culverts on City streets, or
- code enforcement complaints related to conditions on private property.

In addition to the online maintenance request tool, from the app, you can access:
