The City of Lafayette is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to prepare a Development Impact Fee (DIF) Nexus Study and recommend updates to the City’s DIF program. The City assesses development impact fees on new development and redevelopment to fund the infrastructure required to support growth. The selected consultant will work with City staff to identify infrastructure and facilities (e.g., roads, parks, equipment) that may be included in the updated fee program, ensuring that the DIF program aligns fees with the infrastructure and facilities costs generated by new development.
