Transportation Permits

The City of Lafayette limits the routes and hours of travel for oversize vehicles by issuing a Transportation Permit.

To apply for a transportation permit, email a completed Transportation Permit application form to EncPermits@LoveLafayette.org and copy TKain@LoveLafayette.org  An invoice for the permit cost (typically $16.00) will be emailed to you, which you can either pay online (includes an online payment fee) or mail in a check payable to the City of Lafayette, to Attn: Engineering Division, City of Lafayette, 3675 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Suite 210, Lafayette, CA 94549.

Detailed requirements for oversize transportation are stated in the Transportation Permit Conditions which apply to every issued transportation permit.
