Slow Down Lafayette:  The Police Department is using data about traffic speed and volume as well as past collision data to inform enforcement activities. We're also working to educate people driving, walking and biking about ways to make our streets safer for all.

Vision Zero/Improving Street Safety: The City of Lafayette has adopted a Vision Zero policy. Read about our commitment to prioritize and address pedestrian and traffic safety in an effort to make our streets function better for all of us.

Intersection Daylighting: Starting in 2025, we're helping to improve the visibility of people in crosswalks by removing parking adjacent to crosswalks (per California Assembly Bill 413, the new Intersection Daylighting Law.
