General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC)

The General Plan Advisory Committee advises the Planning Commission and City Council on matters relating to the General Plan 2040. Visit www.planlafayette.org for more information on how the Committee was selected and how to get involved in the General Plan Update.
Work Plan:
- Obtain and coalesce public input on the vision for Lafayette.
- Service as a liaison between the public and the Council during the General Plan Update process.
- Serve as referral body to the Planning Commission and City Council on matters related to updating the General Plan.
- Review the City's Mission Statement and provide a recommendation to Council.
The Committee typically meets the 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 6:00 pm. Please see the City Calendar for specific dates.
