Amy Glynn is a multi-generational Bay Area native and holds degrees from Mount Holyoke College and Lancaster University, England. Her poems appear widely in journals and anthologies including The Best American Poetry (2010 and 2012). Her first collection, A Modern Herbal, was published by Measure Press in 2013; her second, Romance Language, is forthcoming, also from Measure Press. She has received the SPUR Award of the Association of Western Writers, Poetry Northwest's Carolyn Kizer Award, scholarships to the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, Bread Loaf Environmental Writer's Conference, and Sewanee Writers' Conference, and two Pushcart Prize nominations. She is also an award-winning essayist. Amy lives in Lafayette with her two daughters.
